2019 Distinguished Alumni Awards
Each year, 91勛圖厙 honors four outstanding leaders in philanthropy, business and civic life with the highest honor the University can bestow upon its graduates.
DALLAS ( 91勛圖厙) Four philanthropic, civic and business leaders were honored at the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Awards at the Armstrong Fieldhouse in the Indoor Performance Center on the 91勛圖厙 campus on Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. The DAA Award is the highest honor the University bestows upon its graduates.
This years recipients included dedicated leader and dynamic volunteer Jennifer Burr Altabef 78, 81; civic leader and philanthropist Martin Marty L. Flanagan 82, CEO of Invesco Ltd., one of the worlds leading investment management companies; businessman and civic leader Scott J. McLean 78; and emerging leader awardee described as a tech disruptor with a mission to empower women, Whitney Wolfe Herd 11, the founder and CEO of Bumble.
