Tracy and Emily helped Dr. Serra conduct a research project on the factors that lead students - and in particular female students - to major in economics, and they hope to see more 91³Ô¹ÏÍø undergraduate women pursue a career in economics in the future.   Tracy and Emily were awarded a Hamilton Scholarship for their proposal, “Women and Economics; Information, Aspirations and the Dismantlement of Stereotypes,” written jointly with Dr. Serra.  The Hamilton Undergraduate Research Scholars Program enables Dedman College's most promising students (in the sciences, social sciences, or humanities) to collaborate with top faculty researchers and contribute to the creation of cutting-edge knowledge in significant and meaningful ways. Faculty/student teams carry out primary research for one semester or up to one year.
