Renee Green
Renee Green is the Deason Center’s Office Manager. She is a 15-year U.S. Army Veteran who has worked in higher education for more than 16 years. This venture began at her local community college (Dallas Colleges). While working there, Ms. Green obtained her associate degree in science. She later graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of North Texas, where her passions for teaching, project management, professional development, and student development heightened, and her goals of serving her community and other students soared.
Ms. Green's career progression is a testament to her dedication and hard work. In 2014, she joined The University of Texas at Dallas as an administrative assistant in the Naveen Jindal School of Management marketing department. While there, she completed her master’s in information technology with a minor in project management. She continually climbed the academic ladder in her profession by becoming a Graduate Program Administrator for the School of Economic, Political, and Policy Sciences doctoral program.
